We are all still with you; We are all still here!

Out of the pages of a nightmare, You go to the mall in anticipation of being a small part of a big picture called a Flash Mob. It is the Eve of Christmas, when only to your surprise, as you arrive, the Leader begins to explain to you that the one who was to start 'Silent Night', is not able to make it, and YOU will be the one to start it out.  Suddenly, the bringing in of the surprising joys, begins with you. And you can't wake up.
I had to put things in perspective though, and think, once again, that the message of Christ, when given, whether sang or said, for that matter, does not rest upon me, but Him. So, whether I was blessed with a voice to sing, or share, I had to be bold. God will do the rest.
The time began ticking, as my family and I looked over the lines of Silent night, and gathered our strollers and Scarves to head downstairs to the appointed place. It's kind of funny not to halt in one place, but keep walking around, so nothing looks obvious. But Really? Everyone is in such a hustle and bustle, that they really won't even notice you, but only as an obstacle in their way.
We got the 'ok', and counted..."3...2....1....." It was a bold, yet amazing feeling to begin singing the song of Christmas, in the middle of a fast-paced race. Caleb and I belted it out all the more, as our children and parents joined. Then others came. . . . . . . and still more. What a Joy to see people come out of no where, who looked like the crowd, but were a part of it too, drawing closer to us, getting louder as many joined in unison to a childhood song of all hearts.
It reminded me of the story of Elijah after the mighty experience on Mt. Carmel. Then Jezebel attacked with her words, and Elijah thought that no one was with him.
"I alone am left," he said.
Don't we often feel that way in the world?
But God.

"Yet I have reserved seven thousand in Israel, all whose knees have not bowed [to Baal]." 2 Kings 19
God says.
I absolutely LOVE that story for that reason! We are not alone! When the enemy likes to yell those lies in our ears, God let's us know that there are OTHERS who are still standing, fighting that same battle!! We are all here. Still fighting, still praying, Still rejoicing in the coming victory!
God, You are Good! You are so Good! He wins. He wins. He wins.
Be encouraged, Friends. As it says in Revelation 19:19-20

Then I saw the beast gathering the kings of the earth and their armies
in order to fight against the one sitting on the horse and his army.

Rev 19:20 And the beast was captured,

(Wait....      That's it? No Fight....?    are you kidding me?, Pretty Simple, I'd say)

and with him the false prophet who did mighty miracles on behalf of the beast--
miracles that deceived all who had accepted the mark of the beast and who worshiped his statue.
Both the beast and his false prophet were thrown alive into the lake of fire that burns with sulfur.

All of this vileness, all of this pain, all of these last minute atrocities and take-downs, that the enemy is doing, will soon be over . . . and he knows it!

Keep Seeking Jesus! You are doing a great job. We are ALL still Here!
Getting Ready to Cross the Ocean
What a whirlwind of Christmas Fun! As our time draws closer, as if a conveyor belt of Groceries reeling closer to the end, we set our eyes towards the home God has called for us in Twenty-Thirteen. We will board that plane, bound for Hungary come January 23rd.

I mean, truly, how valuable is time with Family? In a whimsical jest, it kind of reminds me of  the game of Survivor,
where after they've only been on the Island for about 30 days, the family of the one competing comes to visit them, and they act like it's been  F o r e v e r. With tears amounting 10 years, they embrace till it hurts. I always thought it was kind of funny for them to react so emotionally, when it's only been a month.

The truth is though, after typing it out, I can relate to that 'ol game of Survivor.  Because after racing through obstacles, and living with minimal things, one comes to recognize what matters most on earth;  Who they Love... And that is the treasure of Family. Whether born to, or given the gifts, they surpass all other blessings from heaven!
Going the Distance by doing what God wants for you, is the most enriching, rewarding feeling of the heart. Nothing tops it! It was never supposed to be Easy though, because no matter what you do, the pain of being separated from Family; it never subsides! You just have to hold each other while you're together and look to the inheritance of heaven where we will be together forever. Never to part.
As we prepare for the voyage, we will keep you updated! Thank You for being such a blessing in our lives. Even if we've never met, your prayers are felt. Be blessed!
More to Come,
In Jesus,

PS. People in the mall...they stopped for a while, and watched. They stopped for a while to hear words of Love.
And it all still remains in God's hands....
...one planted the seed, one watered it, but God made it grow...1 Cor. 3:6
